Daycare Supply Teacher

This is an ongoing recruitment position. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis to support operational needs as they arise. Work availability is dependent on staffing requirements and may vary. Employment offers and work assignments are made solely based on the Centre’s staffing needs as positions or shifts become available.

For example, Monday after 12pm, Thursday whole day, etc.

Qualifications:
– Police Check (vulnerable sector) obtained within 6 months (required)
– Early Childhood Education (ECE) Background Preferred
– Valid Standard Level CPR and First Aid Preferred
– Working experience in licensed child care centre preferred
– Up to date Immunization record (including COVID-19 Immunizations)
– Respect, collaborate and support colleagues, developing positive channels of communication to ensure a smooth running centre.
– Contribute toward a healthy team environment.

Responsibilities:
– Assisting ECEs to provide high quality care to meet the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of individuals and groups of children, in line with the Centre’s program philosophy.
– Demonstrating team-work and interpersonal skills.
– Working in partnership to maintain cleanliness and organization of the Centre supplies and materials.
