Hello, my name is Rohini Connor and everyone calls me – Teacher Ro Ro! I am an Early Childhood Educator with the Director’s Approval from the Ministry of Education, and I have an Honours Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph (2017). I am in the process of completing my diploma in Early Childhood Education at Algonquin College.
I always wanted to work with children as I grew up with a lot of younger cousins and I enjoyed caring for them. During my studies in psychology, I was very interested in early development. When I started working in daycare, I found that I was able to apply these two interests to a fulfilling career. I have worked in daycare as well as in a nursery school as a one-to-one for students with special needs.
I am so grateful to be a part of the team at Earth Kidz as the staff is so knowledgeable, caring and passionate about creating a nurturing educational environment for the children. Here, I get to do what I love and learn from the best. As a teacher, I am committed to bring patience, innovation and care to the classroom. I look forward to meeting you and your child!
Bonjour, mon nom est Rohini Connor, ou comme tout le monde m’appelle – Enseignante RoRo! Je suis une Éducateur de la Petite Enfance avec l’approbation de la Directrice du Ministère d’Éducation et j’ai aussi reçu mon diplôme en psychologie de l’Université de Guelph. Je suis en train de finir mon diplôme en éducation de la petite enfance à Algonquin Collège.
J’ai toujours voulu travailler avec des enfants parce que j’aimais m’occuper avec mes plus jeunes cousins quand je grandissais. Pendant mes études à l’université, j’ai accru un intérêt pour le développement de l’enfant. Quand j’ai commencé à travailler en garderie, j’ai trouvé que je pouvais appliquer ces deux intérêts dans une carrière merveilleuse. J’ai travaillé en garderie et aussi dans une école maternelle comme enseignante pour les enfants avec des besoins spéciaux.
Je suis tellement chanceux d’être une partie de l’équipe à Earth Kidz parce que le personnel est si compétent, attentionné, et passionné par la création d’un environnement stimulant et éducatif pour les enfants. Ici, je peux faire ce que j’aime et apprendre des meilleures. En tant qu’enseignante, c’est ma responsabilité d’apporter de la patience, de l’innovation, et de l’attention à la classe. J’ai hâte de vous rencontrer!
